WHERE HAVE ALL THE FLOWERS GONE?
I feel very strongly about what's going on around the world, as many of you know. Everyday, I open the newspaper and there it is, more violence, more hate, more war, more bloodshed. More, more, more, more... And everyday, I cut out these images, these words, and bring them to the studio with me. As I reflect on the needless pain and suffering that goes on daily, I incorporate them into my work so others can maybe, hopefully, reflect on them also. And so, my new series, WHERE HAVE ALL THE FLOWERS GONE? attempts to do just that. It is a social commentary, as well as an emotional reflection of myself during these times.
