Had a laughter-filled visit from close friends, Bubbles and Billy, today who pleasantly surprised me by buying 4 paintings and a sculpture. They came for one and left with 5! Sometimes the art chooses you. So sad to see the last of my Keys sculpture from the Civilization Series gone, but comforted knowing the love it will receive in it's cozy new home. A new Red is officially finished and hanging proudly upon the walls of the studio entrance! I am so thankful for my daughter Madeleine and assistant Ishaa for hanging it up, along with a few others. 14 paintings are being shipped out of the studio soon (EXCITING!!) leaving a lot of EMPTY wall space. Not a problem! Several different paintings are now up and creating a fresh new vibe. Loving how different the space feels with these blues and purples surrounding my red!!!

I had an amazing time with the wonderful Joey Badian at my studio today, laughing, talking and appreciating the art. Thrilled to be putting this powerful Nocturne in his hands. Truly had a great morning and will always cherish these fun studio visits!
